I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm sure that it
was made a little more wonderful by the Buckeye vicrtory over Michigan!

And now...to add to the magic and wonder of the upcoming holiday
season...the Illinois poem, pictures, and Chili Cook-off page is up!
YES!! It IS a Christmas miracle in November!
Anyway...sorry about the delay. The scores are updated
and the 2008 schedule is posted as well.

Well, as usual, I'm behind in getting everything loaded from the last
tailgate. I promise I'll get the pics, new Chili-Cookoff page, poem, and
expenses up soon! In the meantime:

GOD FORBID the Buckeyes DON'T give me coronary while playing Wisconsin!
Anyway, since THAT is over now, I can move on to MATT.com things!

ALL pictures are up...that includes the delayed Michigan State tailgate pics
as well as this week's Wisconsin pics. Also, both poems from Michigan State
and Wisconsin have been posted. Lastly, scores are updated.

And now....it's time...for the 2007 Chilli Cook-off!
Please remember the Chili Cook-off will be a fundraiser for the Phil's Fight Fund.
The contest is still the same...bring your best chili to win the coveted
MATT Chili-Champ Pull-Over and the honor of being called "Chili Champ"!

HOWEVER, this year all chili entries will cost $10 each. All votes for chili
will cost $1 each BUT you can vote as many times as you like!
All proceeds from the Chili Cook-off will go to Phil's Fight Fund.

Wow...not much a of a game but a win is a win.

I can't believe we only got TEN pictures from the tailgate!
Guess there really wasn't too much interest in the Kent State game.
(Of course, I wasn't there so who am I complain!)

I have a quick message from our MATT CEO, Chris Rayo.
Since this weekend is another noon game, Chris will again be providing
breakfast items from Zuppa. The Grill will NOT be in attendance!

Happy October!
Once again I would like to thank all of you from MATT who purchased a
raffle ticket to benefit Phil's Fight Fund. Over $3000 was raised!
The winner of the raffle was Alice Chapman (I don't think I sold that one).

On to other MATT-ers...the pictures from the Northwester tailgate are
FINALLY posted as well as Marc's wonderful impromptu poem
(I think it is the first poem to use both the word "puke" and the phrase
"Attila the Hun"). I have also updated the treasury report.

I want to thank everyone who bought a raffle ticket to benefit
Phil's Fight Fund this weekend. All money collected for this raffle goes directly to
this fund. All support shown by MATT-ers is appreciated! I will post the name of
the raffle winner when it is drawn next Sunday (9-30-07).

I am currently working on uploading the pictures, expenses,
and Marc's FABULOUS poem!
In the meantime, I have updated the score from this past week's game.

FYI...I will be selling raffle tickets for OSU Football tickets this weekend!

The raffle is for two OSU vs. Kent State tickets on the 40-yard line.
Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20!
The winner will be chosen on Sunday, September 30th.
I will post the winner's name here.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will go directly to Phil Henry's Fight Fund!

Come prepared to buy and help out an old friend!!! You know you want to!

For all those interested, I will be taking orders for Appalachian State t-shirts
for everyone to wear at this year's Michigan game. (I'm kidding...maybe.)

From what I heard we had a great turn out for the first tailgate!
Sorry I missed seeing everyone. I am planning to be there this coming Saturday.

Well, that time of year is fast approaching! With tailgate season in mind,
MATT CEO, Chris Rayo has proposed a change for the first couple of tailgates:

"I'm thinking about fore-going The Grill the first 2 games, since they are nooners',
and instead providing breakfast sandwiches and pastries from Zuppa.
Cost will easily be covered in the M.A.T.T. budget since I'll be going thru my brother and making them myself.
This way no one has to hassle with too much food or anything on the early games."

SO, there you go! Come to the tailgate prepared for a yummy breakfast provided by MATT.
The Grill will NOT be in attendance so keep this in mind when packing your eats for the tailgate!

OK...I really expected to get a lot of hell for taking so long to update the page.

Despite the rainy start, it turned out to be a fabulous day under the Tree.
I have updated the score, poem, and there is a temporary Chili Cook-off page up.
As usual, I took over 100 pictures so it will be a few days before I am able to get them uploaded, desigh a PROPER Chili Cookoff page, and post the new group picture!

I hope everyone is getting their chili pots warmed and gathering their secret ingredients because the big day is this weekend!
I'll see yas on Saturday and I'm looking forward to a huge turnout!
